Organizing your Clothes

The first and best step to a clearer closet is to get rid of all of the things you don’t wear.

A good way to start eliminating those items is to turn all of your hangers in your closet backwards so that they are facing away from you.

Then, anytime you wear something, you hang it back up the normal way (which won’t be hard to remember).

At the end of a year check and see which items you haven’t worn and put them in your Goodwill pile!  This can really help get some of that clutter out.

If you’re a seasonal fashionista, then you’re probably wondering what to do with  your winter clothes around this time of year.

We’ve got a few tips for that as well.

All of your winter coats and sweaters have no place in the summer heat.  So either box them up and move it to the attic or spare bedroom, or find some cute storage bins to slide under your bed!  Presto, no more winter.
