Okay, so we’ve posted a lot of ‘lovey, dovey’ blogs pertaining to Valentine’s Day. And truth be told I wasn’t even going to blog about this, but I go to check my email this morning and saw this article! It must be shared with everyone! It’s about revenge Valentine’s gifts. So let’s say you and your sweetheart just recently broke up, right before Valentine’s Day, and you want to send him/her a little reminder that you’re still mad about it! Well on Asylum.com, you can. Mr. Abraham Lincoln, born on February 12th, 1809 in Hardin County, Kentucky, was the sixteenth President of the United States. He also introduced measures that resulted in the abolitions of slavery. His assassination in 1865 by John Wilkes Booth was the first presidential assassination in U.S. history. Booth thought he was helping the south, but instead made Lincoln a martyr for national unity.

Lincoln is viewed by many scholars as one of the top three U.S. Presidents. His everlasting influence on the United States will forever be remembered.

Items needed:
2 1/2 cup Flour
1 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Salt
1 cup Butter
3/4 cup Gran. Sugar
3/4 cup Brown Sugar
1 tsp Vanilla
1 tsp Water
2 Eggs

Process:
Mix well. Add 1 cup of Chocolate Chips (optional 2 cups of Oatmeal). Set your oven to 375 degrees and cook on a baking pan for 10-12 minutes!

And enjoy with a cold glass of milk!!

If you’re single and on your own, Valentine’s Day can be, in my opinion, one of the worst holidays for you to endure. References to ‘love’ bombard you from every angle wherever you are, which of course, is like adding salt to the wound. If you’re a person who doesn’t mind being single on this holiday and going out for a night on the town, that’s great! But if Valentine’s Day is a constant reminder to you that you’re alone & you hate it, think about that the next you’re your lease is up….you might want to get a roommate!

Besides the financial benefits of having a roommate, having another person in your apartment could actually be emotionally comforting. Someone could be there when you come home during the day, or watching T.V. in the evening. It could actually be quite soothing and a relief. Not to mention safe. Having another person in your apartment may give you a sense of security too!
