MacLean is a 15 year veteran in the multi-housing industry. Since joining For Rent Media Solutions in 2006, he has found his niche in technology. He has helped educate the industry through speaking engagements, national management meetings and media interviews for major industry publications.

This is something totally great that I think everyone needs to hear. To assist with relief efforts for the thousands of victims displaced by hurricanes Gustav and Ike, and tropical storm Hanna, ForRent.com has sent 17,000 apartment listings to the National Housing Locator System (NHLS) via Citizant, an organization that supports disaster recovery efforts for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).  Okay, well that was a mouthful….what that essentially means is that ForRent.com apartment listings are sent to this site via Citizant, a leading provider of government professional technical solutions. The NHLS is used by various first responders such as FEMA, HUD and Red Cross in the event of a disaster. The system contains vacant housing data from numerous government and commercial data sources—such as ForRent.com—and serves as a centralized database so that first responders can locate available housing for families displaced by a disaster.  I think it’s fantastic that I’m a part of an organization that helps others during their trying times. Everyone is affected by these hurricanes, many indirectly through rising gas prices and other products. But those who have lost their homes are affected so much more and I think it’s wonderful that For Rent Media Solutions is making a difference in those peoples’ lives.
